On Sunday, August 31st, the Cyclones will conduct a canned food drive, to support Reaching Out Community Services of Brooklyn. Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods to the ballpark that day. For each can, the fan making the donation will receive a free raffle ticket with a chance to win fantastic Cyclones memorabilia.
Reaching Out Community Services has been a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to the distribution of food and other basic items to needy families and individuals in the Brooklyn area since 1992. Through the support and generous sponsorship from caring individuals, they are able to provide vital services to the less fortunate people in the borough of Brooklyn. By donating various canned goods, you will help the numerous needy families in our neighborhood.
Bring your extra canned goods to KeySpan Park on Sunday, August 31st, and help the Cyclones and Reaching Out make a difference in the Brooklyn community!
