Thurber started 32 games, appearing in 36, and batted .230 with two homeruns, 12 RBI and five stolen bases for the Volunteers in 2011...As a sophomore, hit .291 with seven homeruns, 32 RBI and a .545 slugging percentage appearing in 50 games making 31 starts...Rated a four-star and Top 200 prospect as well as the 32nd best outfielder by Baseball America for high school seniors in 2008.
