Biography:

Havens earned third team All-America honors, second team All-SEC honors, SEC All-Defensive team, Rivals.com Second Team All-American, and was a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award during the 2008 season for the Gamecocks...Started all 63 games for Carolina and batted .359 with 18 HR and 57 RBI to go along with 13 doubles and two triples...In 2007, hit .274 with five home runs and 43 RBI...During his freshman season in 2006, he batted .259 with four home runs and 40 RBI, earning him second team All-SEC...Havens attended Bishop England high school in Sullivan's Island, SC, and was originally drafted in the 29th round by the Colorado Rockies in 2005.
