For generations, it has been said that Brooklynites have been “born into baseball.” This summer, that term may be more literal than ever before. On Sunday, July 19th at 5pm, the Brooklyn Cyclones are hosting Bellies & Baseball: A Salute to Pregnancy.

For one night this summer, the Brooklyn Cyclones will be transformed into the Baracklyn Cyclones, honoring the 44th President of the United States with a night of patriotic partying at the ballpark.

The New York-Penn League, which has roots dating back to 1891, “Wants You” to help design their new logo.  All serious artists are invited to submit their creative renditions to tbawmann@lowellspinners.com.  Designs are due no later than June 1^st, 2008 and must only be done in Vector Format using Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand.  The winning logo will be voted on at a NYPL General Managers meeting at a later date. 

Recession?  What recession?  On July 23^rd, the Brooklyn Cyclones will be celebrating money managers, financial analysts, and bean-counters with “Moneyball Night.”
