Box Score

The Cyclones (30-13) swept the two-game series against the Staten Island Yankees (20-19), winning the second game by the score of 7-4 on Sunday evening. Brooklyn scored their runs in four seperate innings en route to a total of seven runs on 11 hits in their 12th matchup against Staten Island this season. The Cyclones now stand eight games above the Yankees in first place in the McNamara Division.

2B J.B. RF Cory Vaughn, CF Darrell Ceciliani, and 3B Joe Bonfe had two hits each and 1B Jeff Flagg drove in Sandoval with a deep sac fly in the seventh inning. C Blake Forsythe led off the eighth inning with a home run over the left-center wall -- the first of his professional career.
