Join us at Special Olympics Awareness Night at KeySpan Park on Sunday, July 20th, when the Cyclones play the Staten Island Yankees. The game is the first stop on the Duck's annual migration.  He will be there to meet our mascots, Sandy and Pee Wee, and help raise awareness about Special Olympics Million Dollar Duck Race.

Please support the Brooklyn Cyclones Million Dollar Duck Race team by adopting a duck at our team Web page at Our goal is to adopt 5,000 ducks!

For every $5 donation made to Special Olympics New York by adopting a duck, a racing rubber duck will be adopted in the donor's name and entered into the race with a chance to win great prizes, including one million dollars.

Special Olympics New York provides sports training and competition to more than 46,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities across New York State. Your contribution will help ensure that they can continue to offer this valuable experience at no cost to the athletes or their families. You don't have to be present to win but won't want to miss seeing 25,000 rubber duckies race from the Brooklyn Bridge to the South Street Seaport.

The Million Dollar Duck Race takes place on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the South Street Seaport.
