After a dramatic win on Wednesday, the Cyclones continued their winning ways against Williamsport, tying a season-high with 15 hits and scoring a season-high 12 runs. The oofense outburst led to a 12-3 Brooklyn win.

 2B Brandon Richey led the way from the leadoff spot, with four hits nd two RBI. DH Reese Havens homerd for the second straight game, and also doubled, notching two RBI of his own.  After going 1-for-9 in his first two games a pro, Havens has erupted in his last two games, going 3-for-8 with  two homeruns a double, and five RBI.  Despite playing in only four games this season, his RBI total is tied for second-best on the team, just two off the team lead.

LF Sean Ratliff , and C Ralph Henriquez also each added a pair of hits, and 1B Ike Davis extended his hitting streak again to eight games with a single.  Davis has at least one hit in every game in which he's played, and is batting .278 on the season (10-for-36).

RHP Tim Stronach (2-2) got the win with a strong outing, going six innings, striking out eight batters and just allowing one run. Mike Lynn and Roy Merritt closed out the game behind Stronach, allowing two runs, on four hits and striking four.

The Cyclones conclude their series at Williamsport on Friday before they return home on Saturday, July 5 at 6 pm to face the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. On Saturday, the first 1,250 kids (14 and under) will receive a 28-inch wooden bat. It will also be Backwards Night at KeySpan Park, os ekam erus uoy emoc tuo dna troppus eht senolcyC!

Also on Saturday, July 5th Mets legend Darryl Strawberry will be signing free autographs at KeySpan Park, beginning at 5pm.  Strawberry will sign one item per person on the Concourse level in front of the team store, and will sign autographs from 5pm - 6pm.  Make sure you get to the ballpark early!
