BROOKLYN, NY – July 27, 2018 – This summer, baseball fans can look forward to a unique bobblehead experience thanks to a unique partnership between the Brooklyn Cyclones, MLB Network, and the nation’s premier Merchandise Agency™, Bensussen Deutsch & Associates (BDA). The Cyclones have long been the gold standard for unique and innovative promotions and giveaways across Minor League Baseball. From the Wilmer Flores “Tears to Cheers” Bobblehead or the Keith Hernandez Second Spitter Bobblehead, the Cyclones are constantly finding different ways to raise the bar in the giveaway game.
This year, the Cyclones are offering fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at exactly what goes into the design and manufacturing of these collectibles during the making of the MLB Central Bobblehead. The three-figurine bobblehead, created by BDA, features the likenesses of the hosts of MLB Network’s weekday morning show: Robert Flores, Lauren Shehadi and 16-year Major Leaguer and New Jersey native Mark DeRosa. The bobblehead will be given away to the first 2,000 fans in attendance at the Cyclones game on Wednesday, August 15th, where Flores, Shehadi and DeRosa will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Leading up to the bobblehead giveaway, MLB Central is featuring videos of the design, sculpting, molding and painting process managed by BDA. From 3D designs to hand-painting every detail, there’s a lot more to these promotional items than a spring and some clay.
Tickets for Wednesday’s game between the Cyclones and Vermont Lake Monsters are just $10 and can be purchased by visiting BrooklynCyclones.com/tickets.
