BRINGING A GROUP TO MCU PARK JUST GOT EASIER

BRINGING A GROUP TO MCU PARK JUST GOT EASIER

Brooklyn, NY – February 9, 2015 – The Brooklyn Cyclones have partnered with Groupmatics to help streamline the team’s group sales efforts. Brooklyn is the first minor league baseball team in the New York-Penn league to partner with the software company, which is based in Cleveland, OH.

“We are very excited to introduce our partnership with Groupmatics,” said Cyclones General Manager Kevin Mahoney. “Our organization prides itself on providing the best possible fan experience and we are always looking for ways to make a trip to MCU Park even more enjoyable. Thanks to Groupmatics, we’ve been able to make planning, promoting and organizing a group outing even easier. Now, the hardest decision our fans have is whether they want to kick back and enjoy a hot dog or a hamburger at the ballpark.”

As a SaaS (software-as-a-service) web-based platform, Groupmatics will help improve the group buyer experience for the team’s group clients, while also adding value to the team by helping to identify their fans. With Groupmatics, group leaders for the team’s games will now be able to utilize an online platform to market, promote and sell to other members within their groups.

“We are extremely eager to start our partnership and help the Brooklyn Cyclones take group sales to the next level,” Groupmatics Sales Manager Dan Badders said.

Groupmatics will also be partnering with the team’s Major League affiliate New York Mets and their High-A affiliate St. Lucie Mets.

Group tickets, as well as fundraising opportunities for the 2015 season, are on sale now and can be purchase by calling 718-37-BKLYN.
