On Saturday, July 5th, Mets legend Darryl Strawberry will be signing free autographs at KeySpan Park, beginning at 5pm.
Saturday is also Bat Day, with the first 1,250 kids receiving a 28-inch wooden bat, presented by the New York Daily News. Bring your kids to the game early, get a free bat, and then get it signed for free by Darryl Strawberry!
Strawberry will sign one item per person on the Concourse level in front of the team store, and will sign autographs from 5pm - 6pm. Make sure you get to the ballpark early!
Darryl Strawberry hit 335 home runs in 17 seasons in the majors, ranking 87th on the all-time home run list. "Straw" is still the Mets' all-time home run leader, with 252 of his long balls belted while he was with the Amazin's.
